Titanium pipe is a type of rolled steel with a different type of section and wall thickness.
Specifications
There are several types of titanium pipes:
deformed and pressed seamless pipe,
electric welded pipe
etched pipe
pipe profile and others.
Manufacturing methods – seamless (hot / cold rolled), welded;
Titanium pipes are distinguished by their strength, lightness and stability, the ability to withstand maximum loads at different temperatures and in different environmental conditions, wear resistance and durability.
Application
The main areas of use of titanium pipe: oil and gas, chemical production, aircraft design
Seamless cold-formed pipes are made from titanium grade VTi1-0,PTi-1 as well as from titanium alloy PTi-7M. Welded titanium pipes are 1.5 times stronger than seamless steel. In the manufacture of welded pipes used titanium grades VTi1-0, VTi1-00 or alloy OTi4-0.
Upon request we can manufacture pipes from other titanium grades
Dimensions : Seamless titanium tubes are manufactured with a diameter of: 5.8 – 140 mm. Wall thickness: 0.5-9.0 mm. The diameter of welded titanium pipes is: 6-102 mm. Wall thickness – 1.5 – 2.0 mm, large diameter titanium pipes upon request.
