Tantalum tape produced cold rolled. Strip blanks are produced by pressing a fine-grained tantalum powder followed by shock loading to impart the required plastic properties. The used production technology allows to obtain rolled products with high precision and quality, as well as improved mechanical properties. The profile is delivered in a soft (unannealed) condition.
The main consumers of the tantalum ribbon are instrument-making, energy and chemical industries. The material is used for the manufacture of corrosion-resistant equipment, heat exchangers for energy systems, electrolytic capacitors and vacuum devices. Tantalum tape is also used in surgery for fastening tissues, making prostheses for bone areas and so on.
Tantalum tape is made of the following tantalum alloys: T, TVCh, TVCh-1
tape is produced from 0.15 to 0.3 mm thick, from 40 to 120 mm wide, from 1500 mm long.
Upon request we can manufacture tape from other tantalum grades.
