Molybdenum foil is produced by forging and rolling. Due to the high softening and melting temperature, corrosion resistance, mechanical strength and heat resistance, molybdenum foil is used in:
lighting systems (in the anodes of the generator lamps);
aerospace industry;
radio engineering and electronics;
chemical industry;
vacuum coatings.
In addition, molybdenum foil is used to create modern heat-resistant and fire-resistant systems, thermal screens. As an example, you can call mineral wool, which has unique characteristics of thermal insulation.
