There are 3 main types of graphite powder: GII –A, GII –B and GII-C
Graphite grade A is characterized by moisture and ash content <1%, carbon content> 99% and sulfur <0.05%. Graphite grade B has ash content <10%, carbon content> 98% and sulfur <0.5%, humidity <5%. For grade C, the ash content is <22%, carbon> 80%, humidity <5%, sulfur <1.5%. Other characteristics of the three grades are identical.
