Bronze foil is distinguished by minimum thickness of rolled metal.
Section shape: rectangular.
Type of feedstock: tin / tinless bronze (tin-phosphorous bronze, silicon-manganese or aluminium-manganese bronze, chrome and chromium-zirconium bronze);
Production method: cold forming, cold rolling.
Bronze foil has high rates of corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity. It is an excellent electrical conductor. It is resistant to external influences, mechanical pressure. It has plasticity and elasticity.
Well cut. Stamped, moulded.
Bronze foil is used in the jewellery, instrument-making industry. It is used as a raw material for the production of parts of ruggedized mechanisms, automobiles, clockworks, interior items.
The foil produced us a soft, semi-solid, hard, very hard condition.
Main bronze grades from which the foil is made: Br-Be2, Br-Si3Mn1
Upon request, we can manufacture foil from other bronze grades.
Depending on the thickness, there are several types of bronze foil:
– thin – thickness up to 30 micrometres (up to 0.03 mm);
– standard bronze foil – 35 – 50 microns (0.035 – 0.05 mm);
– thick foil – thickness from 70 to 500 microns (0.07 – 0.5 mm).
Width – from 100 mm to 1000 mm
