The main properties of the foil:
Hygiene (aluminium is sterile after annealing, does not contain surface
bacteria and does not contribute to their reproduction;);
Barrier properties (aluminium foil serves as an impenetrable metal shield
for contents, preventing its evaporation, drying, moistening, completely
isolates from light, prevents the penetration of odours and tastes);
Thermal conductivity (aluminium has a high ability to uniformly conduct
heat, without losing the basic properties);
Heat resistance (food foil withstands the highest temperatures, protecting
its contents from cracking, charring, burning);
Lightness (aluminium is a light metal, therefore aluminium foil and its products
have less weight compared to traditional pans and another kitchen
Environmentally friendly (aluminium is easy to recycle and can be reused
an unlimited number of times).
Types of aluminium foil
reinforced – fibreglass and polymeric meshes are the basis. Reinforced products have a rough surface to increase adhesion. It is used to isolate external heat lines.
corrugated – has a reinforced structure. It is applied to gas pipelines, water pipes and oil pipelines. It provides good protection against fire, corrosion and almost completely reflects thermal radiation.
laminated – has an additional layer that provides good protection against moisture
self-adhesive – is used to isolate all kinds of joints, connections and flexible structures.
Depending on the type of material from which it is made, it is soft and hard.
Thickness: 0.02 mm – 0.5 mm, width 100 mm-1200 mm, length ≥ 100 mm
